In March 2014, the first edition of the worldwide workshop promoted by the European Resuscitation Academy - whereof Ticino Cuore is a founding member- took place in Stavanger, Norway. Following the proposals issued by the Seattle MedicOne Foundation, the aim of the meeting was directed towards sharing field experiences so as to create a frame of reference for practical interventions for all the participants involved.

Among the participants, the upper management of the Norwegian, Finnish, German, Czech and Slovak health services and/or emergency/rescue units attended the meeting.

In between the several interventions, the presentation of the Ticino’s project was claimed as a successful model thus formally recognizing the excellence of the project in the context of the treatment of Sudden Cardiac Arrests as well as cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
